Operating Support Grant

About this program

The Arrowhead Regional Arts Council offers Operating Support Grants of up to $15,000 in unrestricted funding for arts organizations’ core programming and general operations from January 1 through December 31, 2027. Applicants may request an additional $2,000 Accessible Arts award for disability-related accessibility improvements, for a potential total of $17,000; applications are due September 13, 2026. Eligible applicants include arts-producing or presenting organizations, community arts schools, and artist-service organizations that have operated for at least one fiscal year and are based in ARAC’s Minnesota service region or eligible Tribal Nations. Organizations must meet nonprofit, arts-affiliate, or fiscal-sponsor structural requirements, provide recent financial statements, define measurable outcomes, and may not receive Minnesota State Arts Board Operating Support for the same fiscal year.
