Oregon Promise Grant

About this program

The Oregon Promise Grant, sponsored by Oregon Student Aid, offers financial support to recent high school graduates and GED test completers for tuition at Oregon community colleges. This grant aims to make higher education more accessible, with a focus on supporting students during their initial transition to college.

To be eligible, applicants must have graduated high school or completed their GED test within a specified timeframe, meet residency requirements, and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0. The grant is available to students who have not yet attempted more than 90 college credits, and the application deadline is typically during the senior year of high school or immediately after GED test completion.
