Organization Support Grants

About this program

The Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation offers Organization Support Grants to provide general operating support for nonprofit organizations based in Linn County, Iowa. Grants may support 12–24 months of operations, with requests generally capped at $30,000 annually or 20% of the organization’s operating budget for organizations with budgets under $150,000. Eligible applicants must be headquartered in Linn County, hold current IRS 501(c)(3) public charity status, and have operating budgets below $5 million. Applications are due March 6 or September 11, 2026, by 4:30 p.m. Central Time; capital projects, fundraising, program-specific costs, religious activities, and other listed activities are ineligible.
