Pacific Seabird Program 2026 Request for Proposals

About this program

The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) is offering approximately $4 million through the 2026 Pacific Seabird Program to support one- to three-year projects addressing threats to priority seabirds through invasive-species management, habitat restoration, bycatch reduction, research, monitoring, and conservation capacity building across four Pacific regions. Expected awards range from $50,000 to $750,000, require at least a 1:1 cash or in-kind match, and are due August 24, 2026. Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations, government agencies, Tribal entities, educational institutions, and international organizations; individuals and businesses are ineligible. Proposals must demonstrate measurable contributions to program goals, cost-effectiveness, accurate spatial data, and meaningful partnerships with communities and other stakeholders.
