About this program
The Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina Foundation will award up to five grants of $450,000 over three years to strengthen connections among existing mental health and well-being services for parents and caregivers of children from prenatal through age five in North Carolina. Funding supports partnerships that are community-rooted, improve access and coordination, and enhance existing supports rather than create new programs; grantees will receive evaluation and learning technical assistance. Lead applicants must be 501(c)(3) nonprofits or fiscally sponsored programs, must be trusted community-based organizations with ongoing relationships with caregivers, and must apply with at least one partner organization. Applications are due August 24, 2026, by 5:00 p.m. ET.
