Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans

About this program

The Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans support 30 outstanding immigrants and children of immigrants pursuing full-time graduate or professional degrees at accredited U.S. institutions, providing stipend and tuition support beginning fall 2027. The 2027 application is due online by October 29, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. ET. Applicants may apply while applying to graduate or professional school or during the first two years of the funded program and must meet the fellowship’s immigration, age, and academic-standing requirements. Applications require transcripts, a resume or CV, two essays of up to 1,000 words each, applicable standardized-test scores, and three to five recommendations.
