Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans

About this program

The Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans support 30 immigrants or children of immigrants pursuing graduate or professional degrees in the United States, providing up to $90,000 over one to two years through stipends and tuition assistance. Applicants must be New Americans enrolled in or planning to begin eligible U.S. graduate education and demonstrate creativity, initiative, sustained achievement, commitment to constitutional values, and potential for significant future contributions. The fellowship uses a holistic, merit-based review without preferred GPA or test-score ranges; applications for the 2027 fellowship are due October 29, 2026, at 2 p.m. ET.
