About this program
The Society for Pediatric Dermatology, through the Dermatology Foundation, offers the Pediatric Dermatology Career Development Award to support emerging leaders, educators, clinical scholars, and translational investigators studying dermatologic diseases in infants and children. The award provides a $55,000 annual salary stipend and may be renewed for up to three years.
Applicants must hold an MD, MD/PhD, or DO, be within 12 years of their terminal degree, and have completed U.S. dermatology residency and pediatric dermatology fellowship training. Eligible candidates are early-career junior faculty through the assistant professor level with a strong commitment to pediatric dermatology research, an approved experienced mentor, and institutional support; recipients of federally funded career development awards are ineligible.
