About this program

The New York State Department of Health, AIDS Institute, Office of the Medical Director is soliciting applications for the PrEP Aware Campaign to fund a community-driven public health campaign that reduces disparities and increases Pre-exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) awareness and uptake among people at increased risk for HIV. One award will be funded at $243,000 per year for five years (total $1,215,000); applications are due July 14, 2026 by 4:00 PM ET and answers to submitted questions will be posted on or about June 23, 2026. Applicants must be single agencies able to plan and implement community-centered outreach that advances equity, fights stigma, and promotes biomedical HIV prevention for prioritized populations.
