About this program
The Pediatric Endocrine Society offers the Rising Star Grant to support and encourage research by pediatric endocrinology fellows, providing up to $2,500 for one year with approximately five awards annually. The Raphael David, MD Rising Star Grant prioritizes research related to the developmental biology of the testes or adrenal gland; funds begin November 1, 2026, and may not support fellow salary or indirect costs.
Applicants must be PES members in good standing, hold an MD, DO, or equivalent degree, be enrolled in an approved pediatric endocrinology training program, and have more than six months of fellowship remaining by the September 15, 2026 deadline. Applicants receiving K awards, prior PES Research Fellowship Grants, or prior Rising Star Grants are ineligible, while U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is not required; submissions must include a one-page proposal and updated biosketch.
