About this program
The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), through its Construction Institute, offers the Peurifoy Construction Research Award to recognize outstanding contributions to construction engineering research and the development of new technologies, principles, or practices. The award includes a certificate and an honorarium determined annually, and the recipient may be invited to deliver a Peurifoy Construction Advancement Address. Nominees must be members in good standing of ASCE or the Construction Institute, and self-nominations are not accepted. Nominations are due November 1 and must include a signed cover letter, the nominee’s CV or biographical information, and two or three recommendation letters.
