About this program

The National Health and Medical Research Council's PRC3 Partnership Projects scheme supports collaborations between researchers and policy makers/partner organisations to co‑design, conduct, interpret and implement research that aims to improve health and well‑being by changing delivery, organisation, funding or access to health services. Grants provide $1,500,000 over five years; applications are accepted year‑round to enable timely partnerships, with applications opening 23 July 2026, minimum data due 28 October 2026, closing 11 November 2026 and proposed peer review 2–4 March 2027; submissions are made via Sapphire (RAO account) through an Administering Institution and full documentation is available on GrantConnect. Eligible applicants are researchers applying in partnership with policy makers or partner organisations and must submit through an Administering Institution or MRFF‑eligible organisation, liaising with their institution to meet institution‑specific requirements.
