Presidential Pathology Scholarship - CAP Foundation

About this program

The CAP Foundation’s Presidential Pathology Scholarship provides up to $1,500 for creative projects that advance pathology education, awareness, community engagement, or leadership development, with up to two awards annually. For 2026, projects must introduce K–12 learners to pathology through hands-on STEM experiences, mentorship, and career exposure; applications are due November 12, 2026. Eligible applicants include board-certified pathologists, pathology residents who have completed at least one year of residency, and medical students enrolled at accredited U.S. medical schools, excluding prior awardees and projects covered by other CAP Foundation programs. Applicants must submit a project plan, outcomes and evaluation approach, support letter, 12-month timeline, budget, CV, headshot, and W-9.
