Prince George’s County Community Gardens Mini Grant

About this program

The Chesapeake Bay Trust, in partnership with Prince George’s County, offers mini grants to support new community gardens and the expansion of existing gardens using regenerative practices aligned with the County Climate Action Plan. Awards provide up to $5,000 for gardens of 400 square feet or less and up to $9,500 for larger gardens; matching funds are encouraged but not required. Eligible applicants include nonprofits, County municipalities, watershed organizations, community and homeowner associations, faith-based organizations, schools and other institutions, and Green Teams. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until funds are exhausted and must be submitted at least eight weeks before the proposed project begins.
