Programming & Capacity Building Project Grants (FY27)

About this program

The Arts & Humanities Council of Montgomery County (AHCMC) offers Programming & Capacity Building Project Grants of $1,000–$15,000 to support arts and humanities programming, public activities, new work, and organizational capacity-building projects in FY27. Funded activities must occur in Montgomery County between July 1, 2026, and June 30, 2027, and applications are due April 3, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Eligible applicants are arts and/or humanities organizations or groups that have operated for at least 12 consecutive months, maintain a primary location and verifiable mailing address in Montgomery County, and operate as nonprofits; requests exceeding $5,000 require proof of 501(c)(3) status. Public programs must be accessible to Montgomery County residents, and applicants must submit narrative, organizational or group, financial, and programming support materials through AHCMC’s online portal.
