Project Grants

About this program

Vermont Humanities offers Project Grants of up to $5,000 to support community and curriculum development projects; the program does not use federal funding. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) public charities, government entities, schools, and institutions of higher education, while other groups may apply through an eligible nonprofit fiscal agent. Applications are reviewed three times annually, with the 2026 fall deadline on September 9 and projects due by the end of November 2027.
