Prop 4 – Regional Wildfire

About this program

The Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy offers $15 million in state funding for regional projects that strengthen wildfire resilience, improve local fire prevention capacity and forest health, and reduce wildfire risks to populated areas within the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy Zone. Funding is available through advances and reimbursements, with no matching funds required, and must be encumbered by June 30, 2028. Eligible applicants include nonprofits, public agencies, and tribal governments operating within the designated zone; applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
