Publication Assistance

About this program

The Kurt Weill Foundation for Music offers Publication Assistance grants to authors and nonprofit publishers for manuscript preparation costs—including editing, indexing, design, and reproduction—for peer-reviewed scholarly publications on Kurt Weill, Lotte Lenya, or Marc Blitzstein. Applicants must submit an English application and project description, a manuscript with supporting peer reviews, an itemized budget, and biographical or organizational information; organizations must also provide proof of nonprofit status. Applicants may include scholars previously supported through a Research and Travel Grant or Dissertation Fellowship, with annual deadlines of November 1 and June 1.
