About this program
The Rose Foundation for Communities and the Environment offers the Puget Sound Stewardship and Mitigation Fund to support community-based efforts that mitigate past pollution runoff and protect or improve Puget Sound water quality, with grants of up to $40,000. The Fund was created by Puget Soundkeeper Alliance and is supported through Clean Water Act enforcement actions brought by Soundkeeper, Waste Action Project, and others. Eligible applicants include a range of environmental organizations, particularly small grassroots conservation and environmental justice groups undertaking relevant Puget Sound projects. Applications are due September 29, 2026.
