Radcliffe–Film Study Center Fellowship

About this program

The Film Study Center and the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study offer annual Radcliffe–FSC Fellowships for accomplished practitioners in film, video, sound art, and new media, providing a $78,000 stipend plus $5,000 for project expenses, studio/office space, use of FSC equipment, and access to Harvard libraries and resources during the September–June fellowship year. Fellows are invited to participate in FSC screenings, workshops, and community events and to present their work at Harvard-affiliated venues. Applicants must have a significant body of independent work demonstrating exceptional accomplishment and formal innovation; nonfiction and culturally inflected projects are especially encouraged. Fellows are expected to reside at Radcliffe or in the Boston area for the fellowship year; applications are administered by the Radcliffe Institute with a typical fall deadline and notifications the following spring.
