Ralph D. Feigin JPIDS Apprenticeship Program

About this program

The Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society (PIDS) and its Journal of the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society (JPIDS), with support from Baylor College of Medicine’s Department of Pediatrics, offer the Ralph D. Feigin Apprenticeship to develop early-career pediatric infectious diseases physicians’ academic publishing and editorial skills. The appointment runs from October 2026 through October 2027 and involves manuscript review, editorial discussions, and related activities. Applicants must be within three years of completing pediatric infectious diseases fellowship, demonstrate strong writing and reviewing skills, and commit at least four hours per week to the program. Nomination materials are due September 15, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. ET.
