About this program
The Academic Pediatric Association’s RAPID Scholar Awards provide up to $15,000 for a one-year pediatric research project, along with national mentorship, peer networking, and career-development activities. Applicants must select one funding pathway addressing specified areas, including NIDDK priorities and general pediatrics, pediatric infectious diseases, pediatric subspecialty research, behavioral or mental health, or neonatal nutrition. Letters of intent or initial proposals are accepted from June 1 through October 1, 2026.
