RARE Epilepsy Partnership Award

About this program

CURE Epilepsy, in partnership with rare epilepsy advocacy organizations, offers the Rare Epilepsy Partnership Award to support innovative, milestone-driven research that develops tools, models, assays, registries, data platforms, or diagnostic technologies for specified rare epilepsies. Awards provide up to $100,000 for one year, with projects expected to share resulting resources and data with the research community. Established and early-career investigators from U.S. or international institutions may apply; early-career applicants must have at least three years of postdoctoral experience or be clinical fellows and must provide a committed mentor and mentorship plan. Applicants must submit a Letter of Intent, target one or more eligible rare epilepsy syndromes, and exclude CURE Epilepsy Scientific Advisory Council members and designated partner advisors and their research teams.
