About this program
The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) offers the Raymond C. Reese Research Prize to recognize authors of papers making outstanding contributions to structural engineering research, particularly research that demonstrates practical applications to design. The prize may be awarded annually, with the lead author receiving a plaque and coauthors receiving certificates. Eligible papers must report experimental and/or analytical research and be published in an online ASCE journal between July and June of the year preceding the award. Society membership is not required; nominations must include a signed cover letter and a copy of the published paper and are due November 1.
