Recycled Glass Processing Incentive Grant Program (FY 2026-27)

The Recycled Glass Processing Incentive Grant Program, administered by the California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle), supports projects that increase the amount of furnace-ready glass cullet processed for use in manufacturing new glass beverage containers in California. Eligible projects must be located in California and demonstrate the ability to expand furnace-ready glass cullet processing. The program has an estimated $8,782,179 available for the FY 2026–27 grant cycle, with estimated awards of $1,000,000 to $4,000,000. Applicants must provide matching funds equal to or greater than the grant amount, and CalRecycle funding cannot be used as match. The expected award announcement is January 19, 2027, and the period of performance is January 19, 2027, through April 1, 2029.
