Region 2 Arts Council Fellowship Award for Individuals

About this program

Region 2 Arts Council, with support from the McKnight Foundation, awards two annual $6,000 fellowships to individual creative practitioners in Beltrami, Clearwater, Hubbard, Lake of the Woods, and Mahnomen counties to support time and advancement in their creative practice. Nominations (self or from others) are open to artists, culture bearers, writers, creators, or performers aged 21+ who demonstrate excellence through a substantial body of work, awards, publications/performances, commissions/festivals/residencies, recordings, solo exhibitions, or comparable achievements. Nominations must include nominee contact information, county of residence, creative discipline, and a rationale; nominators provide contact information and may remain anonymous, and shortlisted nominees will be asked for a statement, work samples, and a resume/biography. Deadline for nominations is September 1, 2026; past R2AC Artist Fellowship or Career Development Fellowship recipients are ineligible.
