Requests to Conduct Research With NASP Members

About this program

The National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) Research Committee reviews proposals to recruit NASP members for research participation or access NASP membership data, with applications considered four times annually by September 1, December 1, March 1, and June 1. Approved studies must benefit NASP, the school psychology field, or relevant constituencies and use sound research methods; recruitment through NASP Communities or electronic mailing lists is not considered, and member email addresses are not provided. Applicants must be NASP members, obtain Institutional Review Board approval, protect participant privacy, include consent materials and study instruments, and submit a complete proposal, signed agreements, and recruitment materials as a single PDF to the NASP Director of Research. Decisions are issued within 60 days of each deadline, and samples are limited to a maximum of 1,000 members.
