About this program
The Association for Laboratory Medicine is offering Research and Innovation Grants to support high-quality, original, and ethical research and innovation in Laboratory Medicine, providing up to £8,000 per project (total annual funding up to £20,000) with three to five projects funded each year. Multi-disciplinary, multi-centre projects and industry collaborations are encouraged, and proposals must align with the Association’s values of innovation, sustainability and inclusion. Full Members of the Association for Laboratory Medicine are eligible; applicants must submit the Research and Innovation Grant application form and an anonymised Research Details Form (omit names and identifiable information) between 23 June 2026 and noon on 5 September 2026. Decisions will be made at the Scientific Affairs & Clinical Practice Committee meeting in October 2026.
