About this program

The Massachusetts Life Sciences Center (MLSC) Research Infrastructure program provides $1.5 million–$5 million in reimbursement-based capital funding over one to three years for shared scientific equipment, incubator or accelerator space, and clinical trial resources. Projects should expand access to advanced technologies, address unmet infrastructure needs, and benefit academic and industry researchers across Massachusetts. Eligible applicants are Massachusetts nonprofit organizations, including colleges and universities, academic medical centers, independent research institutions, and nonprofit incubators or accelerators. Proposals must demonstrate broad user access, institutional support, experienced leadership, sustainable operations, and potential to advance research, innovation, and economic development; applications are due November 6, 2026, at 1 p.m. EST.
