About this program
The OMS Foundation offers Research Support Grants of $100,000, awarded to institutions, to advance scientific investigations addressing problems related to oral and maxillofacial surgery. Applications are open through August 31, 2026, with approved funds disbursed in January of the following year. Applicants must hold a doctoral degree; the PI must be a CODA-accredited oral and maxillofacial surgeon, or include a qualified OMS Co-PI with at least 10% effort and a clearly defined role. The OMS PI or Co-PI must be an AAOMS fellow or member and an OMS Foundation donor, and the applicant or OMS Co-PI must meet specified U.S. or Canadian citizenship/permanent-residency requirements.
