About this program
The American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) offers up to $2,000 through the Resident Quality Improvement Award to support resident-led quality improvement projects addressing systems-based challenges and ACGME accreditation requirements. Funds may cover data collection, supplies, materials, and travel to present the project at the AAD Annual Meeting. Applicants must be AAD-member residents enrolled in an accredited U.S. dermatology residency; previous award recipients are ineligible. Projects should use quality improvement methodologies, demonstrate measurable impact, engage an improvement team, and have strong faculty sponsorship.
