About this program
The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) offers the Rickey Medal annually to recognize an individual’s outstanding achievement in the general field of hydroelectric engineering. The award includes a gold-plated medal and an honorarium determined annually based on endowment income. Nominees must be individuals who have not previously received the medal; ASCE membership is not required. Nominations are due November 1 and must include a signed cover letter, the nominee’s CV or biographical information, and two or three recommendation letters.
