About this program
The ACS Division of Environmental Chemistry offers the Rising Star in Environmental Chemistry Award to recognize early-career investigators whose environmental chemistry research shows outstanding promise and who have made impactful contributions to ENVR service. One awardee receives a plaque and $2,000 and is expected to attend the Fall ACS National Meeting for recognition. Nominees must have at least three years of ENVR membership and be within the first 10 years of their independent research career after completing doctoral or postdoctoral training. Nominations, including a nomination letter, two support letters, and a CV, must be submitted by an ENVR member (self-nominations encouraged) as a single PDF between August 1 and October 1.
