About this program
The Society for Applied Anthropology (SfAA) offers the Robert A. and Beverly H. Recipients receive a $2,000 award, commemorative plaque, and opportunity to present their work at the SfAA Annual Meeting. Eligible projects must be located in or near the state hosting the Annual Meeting and demonstrate community participation, sustainability, replicability, evaluation, and preferably interdisciplinary collaboration. Nominations, including self-nominations, must include a letter describing the collaborators, community needs addressed, and local impact, and are due October 15.
