About this program
Alpha Omega Alpha offers the Robert H. Moser Essay Award, providing one $4,500 prize for an original biographical essay celebrating a physician whose career has enriched medicine; the winning essay will be published in The Pharos. Submissions are due October 20, 2026, with the award announced December 18, 2026. All physicians are eligible, and AΩA membership is not required, although AΩA members must have active dues status; AΩA Board members and Pharos Editorial Board members are excluded. Essays must be unpublished, non-autobiographical, no more than 15 double-spaced pages, and supported by no more than 20 consecutively numbered references.
