Roger R. & Laura M. Yoerger Preprofessional Engineer of the Year Award

About this program

The American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) offers the Roger R. and Laura M. Yoerger Preprofessional Engineer of the Year Award to recognize an outstanding undergraduate agricultural and/or biological engineering student for academic excellence and leadership. The recipient receives an engraved obelisk and globe and complimentary registration to ASABE’s Annual International Meeting. Nominees must be ASABE student members who have completed at least two full years of undergraduate study in an ABET- or CEAB-accredited program and have not graduated by October 31 of the nomination year. Nomination materials must be submitted through ASABE’s awards website by October 31, and recipients must attend the Annual International Meeting awards program.
