SAMLA Non-Tenure-Track Travel Grant

About this program

The South Atlantic Modern Language Association (SAMLA) offers a member-funded travel grant to support non-tenure-track scholars attending its conference. Contingent and adjunct faculty, independent scholars, and staff members are encouraged to apply; applications open July 16, 2026, and are due September 30, 2026. Applicants must be SAMLA members, register for and attend the conference to receive funding, and provide a statement describing their project, financial need, and relevant circumstances. Applications may be submitted in any language but must include English translations of supporting materials.
