About this program

The San Angelo Area Foundation offers Grants for Good to support nonprofit and governmental initiatives addressing a broad range of community needs, including education, health, agriculture, arts, workforce development, and community capacity building. Funding must benefit residents of the Foundation’s 17-county service area in and around San Angelo, Texas, with preference for projects that strengthen organizational effectiveness, collaboration, volunteer engagement, and essential services. Eligible applicants include qualified 501(c)(3) organizations, organizations affiliated with eligible nonprofits, and governmental units. Organizations awarded or declined funding within the past year are generally ineligible unless circumstances or the request have significantly changed; applications are due September 1, 2026.
