School Bus for the Arts Grants

About this program

The Nebraska Arts Council offers School Bus for the Arts grants to underwrite K–12 student field trips to professional arts events—concerts, dance or theatre performances, museum or cultural exhibits—and related learning activities such as workshops led by professional artists. Allowable expenses include transportation, admission fees, and associated workshop fees. General School Bus for the Arts funds are open to K–12 schools, and a dedicated Kimmel School Bus for the Arts grant stream, funded by the Richard P. Kimmel & Laurine Kimmel Charitable Foundation, is specifically available to schools in Southeast Nebraska. Applicants must be schools serving K–12 students and follow the program guidelines and posted deadlines when applying.
