Schwarzman Scholars Fellowship — Class of 2027-2028

About this program

Schwarzman Scholars, hosted at Schwarzman College at Tsinghua University and established by the Schwarzman Scholars program, offers a highly selective, fully funded one‑year master’s program in Global Affairs in Beijing to develop the next generation of global leaders. Awards typically cover tuition, room and board, travel and a living stipend. Applicants must hold (or be on track to complete) an undergraduate degree by August 1 of the enrollment year, be 18–28 years old as of that date, and demonstrate outstanding leadership, academic ability, character and intercultural competence. Non‑native English speakers must meet proficiency requirements (e.g., TOEFL ≈100, IELTS 7, Duolingo 130, or Cambridge 185) unless a waiver applies.
