Brown Institute for Media Innovation at Columbia Journalism School is accepting applications for the second annual Marco Castro Cosio Media Art and Technology Fellowship, offering fiscal sponsorship of $10,000 and a remote residency to support emerging creators and researchers working at the intersection of technology, media, and the arts. Fellows are encouraged to pursue interdisciplinary projects reflecting Castro Cosio’s legacy of inclusivity and addressing societal challenges; the award may cover travel, living, equipment, and other project costs, and New York–based fellows may access space at Pulitzer Hall. Applicants may come from any professional background but must be eligible to receive funding from a U.S.-based institution (the Brown Institute cannot provide visa sponsorship), and applications are submitted via the Brown Institute Submittable page.
