About this program
The Dedalus Foundation's Senior Fellowship supports critical and historical studies of twentieth-century painting, sculpture, and allied arts by awarding project-based fellowships to writers and scholars. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, not currently matriculated in academic degree programs, and demonstrate prior scholarly or writing accomplishments; recipients are selected by a jury of distinguished scholars. Applications are due September 15, 2026, 5 PM ET; stipends vary by project with a maximum of $30,000, and inquiries may be sent to fellowships@dedalusfoundation.org.
