SFA Research Grants

About this program

The Sarcoma Foundation of America (SFA) offers one-year research grants of up to $75,000 for preclinical, translational, and clinical studies addressing sarcoma etiology, biology, diagnosis, and treatment. Grants support equipment, supplies, and eligible personnel costs, with limits on indirect costs and salaries; the 2027 program requires a Letter of Intent by November 6, 2026, before selected applicants may submit full proposals. Applicants must hold an MD, DO, PhD, or international equivalent and have the expertise and resources to conduct the proposed research. U.S. and international investigators are eligible, provided international applicants can budget and receive funds in U.S. dollars and returning SFA grantees have fulfilled prior award requirements.
