SIAM Activity Group on Algebraic Geometry Agnes Szanto Early Career Prize

The Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) Activity Group on Algebraic Geometry offers the Agnes Szanto Early Career Prize biennially to recognize an outstanding early-career researcher for distinguished contributions to algebraic geometry and its applications. The award includes a certificate and an invitation to speak at the 2027 SIAM Conference on Applied Algebraic Geometry, with reasonable travel expenses reimbursed. Nominees must be current graduate students or have received their Ph.D. in 2021 or later, and must have a qualifying English-language, peer-reviewed paper published between January 1, 2024, and December 31, 2026, within three years of receiving the Ph.D.; nominations require a recommendation letter, CV, key-paper citation, and expert support letter. Nominations are due October 15, 2026.
