SIAM Activity Group on Control and Systems Theory Best SICON Paper Prize

About this program

The Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) Activity Group on Control and Systems Theory offers two Best SICON Paper Prizes every two years to recognize outstanding research published in the SIAM Journal on Control and Optimization. Each selected paper receives a plaque, and at least one author is invited to present the work at the 2027 SIAM Conference on Control and Its Applications, with reasonable travel expenses reimbursed. Eligible papers must make significant contributions to control and systems theory and have been published in SICON between January 1, 2024, and December 31, 2026. Nominations, including a recommendation letter, bibliographic citation, and PDF of the paper, are due October 15, 2026.
