SIAM Industry Prize

About this program

The Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) offers the annual SIAM Industry Prize to recognize an individual or team for outstanding contributions to applying mathematical sciences in industry. The award includes an engraved medal, $2,000 cash prize, reasonable travel expenses for one person, and an invited lecture at a SIAM meeting or conference. Eligible nominees may be members of the scientific community whose qualifying work was conducted in a non-academic setting; nominations must include a recommendation letter, candidate CV(s), and two or three expert support letters. Nominations for the 2027 prize are due October 15, 2026, with presentation at the 2027 SIAM Conference on Applications of Dynamical Systems.
