SIAM Postdoctoral Support Program

About this program

The Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) Postdoctoral Support Program provides up to $15,000 for postdoctoral researchers to pursue research, mentoring, and collaboration with a mentor at another institution, supporting career advancement. Up to two postdoc/mentor pairs are selected annually, with funding available for up to two years and a required minimum of four weeks of face-to-face collaboration. Applicants must be within three years of receiving their Ph.D., propose research relevant to SIAM, and form a pair that has not previously been co-located or employed by the same institution or company; U.S.-based pairs receive priority. Funding for the current review cycle is exhausted, and the next priority deadline is November 1, 2026; applications require CVs, a research description, budget and justification, and mentorship plan.
