SIG Member of the Year Award

About this program

The Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T), administered through its SIG Cabinet, presents the SIG Member of the Year Award to recognize significant service and contributions to a particular Special Interest Group (SIG). The award consists of a certificate presented during the SIG Cabinet Meeting at the ASIS&T Annual Meeting and may honor activities such as event participation, publications, leadership, special projects, member recruitment, and other member services. Eligible nominees are current ASIS&T members who belong to the nominating SIG; an individual may not receive the award in consecutive years. Nominations are submitted through the SIG Annual Reporting process, including the annual activities report, required checklist, and supporting documentation, with reports due September 1.
