SIG of the Year Award

About this program

The Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T), through its SIG Cabinet, presents certificates to recognize a Special Interest Group’s outstanding professional accomplishments and activities. Eligible achievements include publications, professional development programs, innovative information formats, public service, special projects, and consistently strong member or Society services. All active ASIS&T SIGs are eligible, and nominations must include the SIG Annual Activities Report, award criteria checklist, and supporting documentation submitted through the annual reporting process by September 1. Multiple SIGs may be selected, and previous recipients may receive the award again.
