SIG Publication of the Year Award

About this program

The Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T), through its SIG Cabinet and Society-at-Large, offers the SIG Publication of the Year Award to recognize the best publication produced by one or more SIGs during the previous July–June year. The award consists of a certificate presented at the ASIS&T Annual Meeting and may recognize newsletters, transactions, directories, or other accessible print or electronic publications. Eligible nominations must be submitted by SIGs through the Annual Reporting process, including the Annual Activities Report, required criteria checklist, and supporting documentation. Publications are evaluated for member relevance, scholarly or societal significance, creativity, clarity, and presentation quality; nominations are due with the SIG Annual Report by September 1.
